Predictions: 0-3 United Win 😁
Manchester United are set to host Partizan Belgrade at the theatre of dreams in the Europa league return fixture. United arrived at the vitality stadium oat the back of 3 wins away from home but the momentum lasted only 3 games when Joshua King abruptly ended Manchester United winning runs.
Manchester United were disappointing to watch over the weekend, it’s been going on and on this season. When Man United manage to play good football, don’t expect them to play good football in the next game. You won’t see a good performance.
That level of consistency isn’t guaranteed, when we played Liverpool the performance was amazing but a couple of days later we travelled to Belgrade to be outplayed by Partizan Belgrade.
Bournemouth were no doubt the better team when the opportunity presents itself they grabbed it, the game plan was to sit back and hurt United on counter-attacks and that worked well for them.
So far, this has been the worst start United have had in 33 years. With 11 games played so far in the league, Manchester United are closer to the relegation zone than they’re closer to the top six. They have won only 3 games, drawing 4 and losing 4, leaving them three points above the relegation zone.
Ole needs to drop Ashley Young now, he cost the team more than he gives and I don’t think his services are needed in this team. No one will miss him, Brandon Williams and Marcus Rojo are good enough players to take on his position. As good as James Milner is at Liverpool, he isn’t Making it to the pitch week in week out like Ashley Young does at Manchester United and that needs to change. I can’t stress enough on how the opposing team sees Ashley young, they see him as vulnerable and he’s been exposed from time to time.
Individual performances are the key to Manchester United success this season. Andreas Pereira has been fantastic for Manchester United but he lacks the creativity to link Martial and Rashford together, his final balls are relatively poor and he needs to improve well on that. He won’t get so many chances like this to make his mark.
Partizan Belgrade outplayed Manchester United in Belgrade and I think this is the perfect platform for Manchester United to respond to losing to Bournemouth who couldn’t score a goal in 6 hours of football before hosting Manchester United.
All in all, Partizan Belgrade are capable of hurting Manchester United and I won’t be disappointed if they do. In a way, Manchester United make these smaller teams look better than they are in reality and as a fan, you’ll keep asking yourself if that was the team that beat Chelsea on two occasions this season.
Glory Glory Man United 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
